Praying all is well at your house. My family spent a large amount of the month of January “Quarantined”. Because of this we had to postpone several activities and had “virtual” sermons. Our church has been blessed with very little illnesses from Covid. Please pray for those that are still sick and “grounded”.

With all the normal excitement about new beginnings that each new year brings, this year is off to a slow start. I apologize if we haven’t been by to see you. Trying to observe social distancing and respect everyone’s safety concerns. I pray that we will soon be able to get back to normal. We miss you! We have attempted to keep God’s work moving ahead. We have used door to door hand outs (and witnessing), US mail, social media and created a Website (cornerstonebaptistcc.org).

In January Cornerstone and the Arkansas Baptist State Convention spent 21 days in “Prayer and Fasting”. Praying for our country, our families, our church and our schools. We need to return to our “First Love”. “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love” Revelation 2:4 It’s time for us as individuals and as a church to be bold in sharing our love of Jesus with our world.

The leadership of our church is staying focused on our mission. Meals have been provided for the sick and for the needy in our community. Using phone calls, Text, social media and mail we do our best to keep our members informed and check on each other’s well-being.

Bro. Billy Baker is preaching Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM and Wednesdays we continue AWANA, Youth and Adult prayer meeting/Bible study.
