WOW, what a start to summer! We sent Kids to Camp Siloam and had four give their lives to Jesus. Then baptized 3 adults and had a four-day Vacation Bible School “Focus”. This was all before the Fourth of July. We have been blessed with the addition to our church; Judah Skaggs and Evee Beach. On Sunday, the Fourth the two families committed to raise them to know and serve Christ. July 23-25 we will take our youth to “Sky Ranch” for a three-day retreat.
As summer continues toward the “Dog Days”, people travel and spend time at the lakes, rivers and creeks we are so fortunate to enjoy. Count your blessings that this summer we can get out and enjoy these with family and friends. If the last year did nothing else, it has reminded us to appreciate God’s riches. As you get out, give God the Glory!
The Cornerstone Men a have monthly breakfast the first Saturday each month. We are looking forward “Promise Keepers’ in Dallas the weekend of the 16-17th. and starting our weekly Bible Study on July 27.
August will continue to be exciting, with a group travelling to Portland on a “Mission Trip” to help Davey & Sarah (Barnes) Billings. Then on August 21st. and 22nd. we will celebrate the church’s 25th. Anniversary.
Remind you that in July we need to pick up “school supplies” while on “sale” for local kids backpacks and Christmas Shoeboxes.
We continue our traditional services Sundays at 11:00 AM, Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM (both Livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube), Sunday School at 10:00 AM and Wednesdays at 6:00 PM we continue Youth and Adult prayer meeting/Bible study. Online giving is available at Givelify.com
