Fall is officially here, and I am ready for some cooler weather! We had a great summer with two different camps, VBS, baptisms and Salvations. Cornerstone also celebrated its 25th Anniversary. It was great seeing church family and hearing “stories” about the last twenty-five years and how God has Blessed our church.
As we head into the fall and winter there is a lot happening. We are planning trips to “The Passion Play” on October 1st, and the “Corn Maze” on the 9th. Then on the 16th we will have an evening of music. Bring your voice and a song.
R.E. Clark recently retired as our Associational Missionary, but we are excited that he will be with us, preaching our Revival November 7-10th. Plan on joining us as he challenges us. It’s a great time bring a guest and review your daily walk with The Lord.
Our church has always had a heart for mission work. If you look around the Sanctuary you see flags that represent states and countries our members have traveled to. In the past couple months, there have been teams travel to Oregon and South Dakota to work. We contribute generously to the SBC Cooperative Program that funds missionaries around the world. Another way we share the gospel is by providing Christmas Shoeboxes with Operation Christmas Child and for South Dakota with Chris Little. We are collecting items (page 2 is a list of items) up until November 14th.
Sunday morning services start at 11:00 AM, Sunday evenings at 5:00 PM (both Livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube). Sunday School is at 10:00 AM, and Wednesdays we have AWANA, Youth, and Adult prayer meeting/Bible study at 6:00 PM. Online giving is available at Givelify.com
